A guy from Another company I’m working with on a project drove this truck in today. He drove a ‘69 mustang the other day. Says he has 50+ cars. Quit smoking & drinking to start buying cars.
I asked to see the rest, probably towards the end of the project. He said yeah, and I can take pictures.

Floor tile & mastic removal. The biggest hurdle is Illinois public health laws for schools. In MO or Iowa it'd be a lot faster.

Can’t you just encapsulate it? Easier to install floors over it and just as safe if it isn’t friable. Abatement is expensive for that stuff.

The tile was terrible in some rooms. The front offices had duct tape on the seams to hold them down.
I'm surprised it took them this long to take it up. There is other construction going on, which we are always pushed because of holding up the GC.

As a GC, we always push. Be glad you’re not a mechanical insulator - your shit always gets covered up by the drywall and ceiling crews the day after mechanical and plumbing rough-in is done.
